Our client is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work across the Bristol area, ensuring recreation areas and play equipment are well-maintained. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the facilities provide a safe, welcoming, and attractive environment for service users.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with maintaining recreation areas and play equipment.
Help ensure that the facilities are safe and presentable.
Carry out manual tasks and operate grounds maintenance equipment.
The Ideal Candidate
Will Have:
Knowledge and experience of grounds maintenance.
Good customer service skills with the confidence to handle difficult situations.
The ability to lift and perform heavy manual tasks in an outdoor environment.
Experience in ground
equipment maintenance
is a plus.
A sound understanding of risk management.
Relevant qualifications such as PA1/PA6 or LANTRA base machine operations (desirable but not essential, training available).
Excellent public relations skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
