OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Goom Tech to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our furry clients while ensuring their comfort and safety. As a Groom Tech, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of pets, contributing to their overall well-being and happiness.DutiesGently bathe and groom pets according to their specific needs and breed requirements.Safely handle and restrain animals during bathing and grooming procedures.Brush, comb, and dry pets after bathing to ensure a neat appearance. Prepping pet for grooming.Inspect pets for any signs of skin issues or abnormalities and report findings to the grooming team.Maintain cleanliness in the salon and bathing area, including washing towels, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pet’s grooming needs.Assist in managing appointments and check-in/check-out processes for clients.Ensure all animals are treated with care, respect, and compassion throughout the grooming process.ExperienceThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:Previous experience in animal care or handling, particularly with dogs.Familiarity with customer service principles to enhance client interactions.Background in pet sitting or veterinary services is a plus.Knowledge of dog training techniques or veterinary technician skills can be beneficial.Experience working in a kennel or similar environment is advantageous but not required.Candidates should have a genuine love for animals and a desire to contribute positively to their care.
