Job Description:
Grounds Maintenance
Location:
In-Person – Elkridge Golf Course in Carson, Washington
Type:
Seasonal – Full-time
Starting wage: $17.50/hr
This position offers an opportunity to learn the industry of golf course maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform daily maintenance of the golf course and landscaping
Work weekends and holidays as required
Operate machinery safely and effectively
Work independently following written or verbal instructions
Pay close attention to detail
Lift up to 40 lbs
Knowledge of golf and landscape is a plus
Possess a valid state driver’s license
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of horticulture and plant care
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
Certification in landscaping or horticulture
Experience with irrigation systems
Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, and fertilizing
Care for flower beds, shrubs, and trees via planting, pruning, and watering
Inspect and maintain outdoor equipment and tools
Implement pest control and weed management
Assist with seasonal landscaping projects in collaboration with property management
Skills Needed:
Strong understanding of plant care and maintenance techniques
Attention to detail for identifying issues like pests or diseases
Physical stamina and safe operation of landscaping equipment
Practical skills and knowledge to maintain outdoor spaces effectively
