WORK SCHEDULE
Up to 40 hours per week, variable schedules—days, evenings and weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include but not limited to: mowing of tees, greens, fairways, roughs, and site maintenance.
Repair and programming of golf course irrigation systems.
Familiarity with turf fertility and diseases desired.
Supervision of other part-time employees will be required in absence of full-time employees.
May extend work through winter months for snow removal.
Work involves working outside in all weather conditions.
Evening and weekend work may be required.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:
Experience with
golf course landscaping, irrigation, operation and maintenance or pesticide application required. Horticulturist experience preferred but not required.
SPECIAL SKILLS & TRAINING:
Must be at least 18 years old. A minimum of two years’ experience in golf course maintenance required.
Experience with
all types of golf course maintenance equipment and golf course irrigation required. Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s license with good driving record. #J-18808-Ljbffr
