Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Teaching Assistant located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The General Teaching Assistant will support lead teachers in day-to-day classroom activities, including assisting with lesson planning, providing one-on-one or small group support, and helping manage classroom behavior. The role involves working closely with children, supporting their educational and developmental needs, assisting in activities related to basic education subjects such as mathematics, and ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications
- Skills in Assistant Teaching and Education
- Effective Communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in Working with Children
- Competency in basic Mathematics
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting children with special needs
- Relevant experience or qualifications in Special Education or Child Development is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and caregivers
