Job Description
A full-service mixed-animal hospital in a scenic countryside location is seeking a veterinarian to join its team. The practice treats a variety of species, with a caseload of approximately 60% small animal and 40% equine, beef cattle, goats sheep, and more small ruminants. Emergency night calls are handled in-house but are infrequent. The hospital is well-equipped with two ultrasounds, a complete in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, surgical laser, cautery, therapeutic laser, four exam rooms, a surgical suite, in-house pharmacy, isolation units, and both EMR and paper records. The facility is designed for efficiency, with ample space, a large parking lot for trailers, and a heated four-car garage! The team consists of three DVMs, including a practice owner with 55 years of DVM experience. Mentorship is available, but some experience is preferred. The position requires full-time availability, with a 4-5 day workweek and two on-call nights per week.
