Main Responsibilities:

Maintain and care for the hotel’s gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces, ensuring they meet high aesthetic and cleanliness standards.  Plant, prune, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other landscape features.  Mow lawns, trim hedges, and clear any debris from pathways, walkways, and garden areas.  Monitor plant health, including identifying pest issues and taking appropriate action.  Assist with seasonal plantings, flower arrangements, and landscape design projects.

Ensure the proper use and maintenance of gardening

tools and equipment

.  Report any maintenance needs or issues related to the landscaping or garden areas.  Collaborate with the hotel’s housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a clean and safe environment.  Follow all

safety protocols

when working with landscaping tools and chemicals.

Candidate profile:  Proven experience in gardening or landscaping, preferably in a hospitality or residential setting.  Knowledge of plant care, horticulture, and landscape design.  Ability to operate gardening tools and machinery (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, etc.).  Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.  Strong

attention to detail

and an eye for design.  Good

communication

and

teamwork

skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.  Previous experience in a hotel or resort setting is a plus.
