Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Gardener to join our client’s team and maintain the beautiful grounds near Swaffham. This is a full-time position offering a rewarding opportunity to work in a
dynamic
and picturesque outdoor environment for a high income family household.
This role is ideal for someone with a
positive attitude
, that is hardworking and able to adapt to a fast pace environment. While the majority of the work will be outside, sometimes you will be required to assist wth minor household tasks. You will need to go through a full day paid trial with a general manager or the main gardener of the household.
Occasionally you will need to drive to another household in London to complete further tasks, all the travel expenses will be paid.
Responsibilities:
Perform general garden maintenance, including mowing, pruning, weeding, and planting
Care for lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees to maintain a pristine appearance
Propagate plants, manage seasonal planting, and ensure the grounds are visually appealing year-round
Use and maintain gardening tools and machinery safely and effectively
Assist with landscaping projects and development of new garden features
Monitor and maintain plant health, including pest and disease control
Follow sustainable and environmentally friendly gardening practices
Requirements:
Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or groundskeeping
Knowledge of plants, seasonal care, and garden maintenance techniques
Qualification and proficiency in using gardening tools and machinery
Strong
physical fitness
and stamina to perform outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, also to be flexible and adaptable
Full driving license (essential, due to the location)
