Title: FUNDI MANAGER

Company: TWYFORD INTERNATIONAL (Kenya)

Location: Nairobi County, Kenya

Overseas Fundi Manager

Location: Nairobi, Kenya (Africa Region, with frequent travel across project countries)

Company: Twyford International Kenya

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

The Expat Tiler Project Manager takes full charge of the overall operation, market promotion and technical capacity‑building of the tiler project across regional markets.

Apart from market promotion, team management and project delivery for the tiler project, this role requires solid expertise in building construction and tile installation. You are expected to identify, evaluate and resolve practical on‑site construction challenges, and translate hands‑on know‑how into standardized training content.

Core Role Objective: Set up a full closed‑loop workflow: Standard‑Setting – Training – Practical Exercise – Assessment – Follow‑up – Improvement. Build a local tiler training system from scratch and develop an in‑house local training team step‑by‑step, to equip local tilers with standardized tile‑installation skills.

Note: If your past technical support was largely provided by suppliers or professional contractors, you shall demonstrate strong self‑learning capability and independent technical judgement on construction work. You will be expected to lead technical training independently, rather than relying continuously on external suppliers to deliver such training.
