This full-time Veterinary Assistant/Technician role requires 3+ years of experience in an animal hospital or clinic. While CVT, LVT, or RVT credentials are preferred, they’re not mandatory. Fluency in English and Spanish is highly valued to connect with our diverse community but not required. Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, three pillars of excellence. At Animal Hospital at Oakleaf Plantation, we seek a dynamic candidate prepared to excel across three key areas: Veterinary Assistant/Technician duties, receptionist responsibilities, and kennel care. This role requires versatility, ensuring exceptional patient care, seamless client interactions, and a safe, comfortable environment for our furry guests. Other requirements: We’re seeking a resilient and adaptable individual able to lift 40 lbs., stand for long periods, and excel in a fast-paced environment. This up to 37-hour-per-week role requires weekday availability, some weekends, and holidays. Practical knowledge of veterinary hospital procedures and a commitment to high standards of care are essential.
