Role Description:
We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated Foster Doods to temporarily care for our pets until they find their forever homes. If you love animals and can provide a safe, loving environment for a pet in need, we’d love for you to join our foster team. It’s ideal if you’re able to transport the pets to vet appointments and help them on their journey to adoption.
Responsibilities:
• Provide a safe and loving foster home for pets in need.
• Care for pets by feeding, exercising, and socializing them as needed.
• Take pets to vet appointments for check-ups, vaccinations, and any medical needs.
• Communicate with the team about the pet’s progress and needs.
• Help the team match pets with their forever homes.
• Attend training sessions and complete any required courses.
• Ensure the pet’s comfort and safety while in your care.

Qualifications:
• 18 years or older
• Passionate about pets and animal rescue
• Strong communication skills (email, chat, phone, and social media)
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working remotely and with a flexible schedule
• Must have a safe and suitable home environment for fostering or transport
• Bonus: Experience with rescue work or familiarity with shelter systems
