Title: FORKLIFT OPERATORS

- Load and unload materials and merchandise and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies to vehicles (forklift)
- Timely transport raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Ensure proper maintenance of assigned forklift machine
- Daily routine checks of forklift machine
- Ensure forklift machinery operation is within the correct parameters in accordance with established company policies and legal guidelines
- Maintain good GMP/GHP in the workplace
- Prompt reporting of defects on assigned forklift machine for necessary repairs/replacement to engineering
- Report any identified problems with regards to the food safety management system to the Food Safety team for appropriate actions to maintain the integrity of the company
Requirements:
- OND,HND,B-SC, B-Tech
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification/License.
- Proven experience as Forklift operator( At least a minimum of 3 years Experience ).
- Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of current FSMS & ISO standards are advantageous.
- Understanding of production schedules
- Reporting requirement and documentation.
