You will play a critical role in fostering collaboration amongst community partners, promoting outdoor pedagogy, and ensuring that children’s learning experiences are deeply embedded in nature. By developing frameworks and hands-on workshops, you will help educators and families engage meaningfully with the outdoors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Free to Play initiative with set timelines
• Support and model best practices in outdoor education
• Convene community practices for sharing ideas
• Create accessible outdoor learning environments
• Collaborate on sourcing outdoor learning resources
Requirements:
• Valid documentation including Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• 3–5 years of relevant experience with children
• Registration with early childhood educators preferred
• Knowledge of forest school methodologies required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
