Are you a Licensed Veterinary Technician who thrives in a dynamic environment, adapts quickly to changing needs, and loves variety in your workday? Animal Emergency and Specialty Center (AESC) is seeking a Floating LVT with exceptional flexibility to support multiple departments and shifting schedules, especially during a period of temporary FMLA coverage.
This is not a short-term role! While this position was created to help us pivot through several staffing adjustments, we fully intend to retain this team member once all current team members return. You’ll be a vital part of our growing hospital team for the long haul.

About the Floating LVT Role:
As a Floating LVT, you will support various teams (Emergency / Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, etc.) as needs shift due to staffing and patient load. This role is ideal for a technician who:
Enjoys variety and learning across departments
Has a flexible schedule and can pivot between shifts (including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends)
Communicates well, adapts quickly, and thrives in a collaborative environment

You are a Licensed Veterinary Technician in good standing
You are adaptable, collaborative, and calm under pressure

Schedule:
We are open 24/7. Floating LVTs must be available for day, swing, and overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Your schedule may vary week to week depending on team coverage needs.
Compensation:
$27.00 – $36.00 per hour, DOE
Shift differential for overnight shifts
Double-time for call-ins and holidays
