Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Advisor role based in Machakos. The Financial Advisor will engage with clients to understand their financial goals, assess their current financial situations, and provide tailored recommendations on savings, investments, insurance, and retirement planning. Day-to-day tasks include conducting financial needs analyses, preparing and presenting financial plans, monitoring client portfolios, and scheduling regular review meetings to adjust strategies as needed. The role also involves educating clients on ICEA LION Group’s products and services, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation of all client interactions. The Financial Advisor will collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions and contribute to business growth through client retention and acquisition.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to design and implement comprehensive, long-term strategies for clients.
  • Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Finance and Investments to analyze options, manage portfolios, and guide clients toward suitable financial products.
  • Candidates should possess proven Financial Advisory skills to build trust, provide clear recommendations, and support clients through key financial decisions.
  • Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear, accessible manner.
  • Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity and ethical judgment.
  • Relevant academic qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in financial planning or advisory are an added advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse clients, manage time efficiently, and meet performance targets in an on-site environment in Machakos.
