Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on filters, pumps, valves, and piping systems.
Recognize normal system operations and participate in preventative maintenance programs.
Maintain saltwater and freshwater systems, including water chemistry testing and adjustments.
Keep records of maintenance activities.
Assist with general park facility maintenance.
Follow all safety guidelines and practices, including the use of PPE.
Maintain cleanliness in work areas.
Communicate professionally with team members, vendors, and guests.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator certification.
Experience with basic mechanics and water treatment operations.
Minimum of 1-year experience in aquatic life support or water treatment facility.
Knowledge of water analysis and system troubleshooting.
Ability to interpret piping layouts and work with various tools and materials.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform physical activities like bending and climbing.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and around chemicals and water.
Additional Information
Position involves extensive walking, standing, and physical activity.
Work may be indoors or outdoors, with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and temperature extremes.
Requires working around chemicals and water.
