🎯 Your Role
Ensure the proper implementation, supervision, and compliance with all environmental legal obligations and commitments established in applicable regulations and the Environmental Qualification Resolution (RCA) of the Project, specifically related to the Fauna component, during project execution.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
✅ Execute environmental clearance (liberación ambiental) activities related to fauna, through on‑site inspections to verify the presence or absence of fauna potentially affected by construction activities, preparing formal supporting documentation
✅ Apply Controlled Fauna Disturbance procedures in accordance with established protocols and RCA guidelines, generating records and reports to demonstrate environmental compliance
✅ Monitor and follow up on Controlled Fauna Disturbance activities according to the frequency defined in the RCA, preparing compliance reports for the client and authorities
✅ Coordinate and deliver inductions, training, and awareness sessions for site personnel and contractors regarding fauna protection measures
✅ Support construction teams in the definition of alternative work layouts or alignments, when required, to prevent or mitigate impacts on fauna
✅ Maintain close coordination with construction teams to ensure preventive environmental management in the field
✅ What We’re Looking For
🔹 At least 4 years of proven field experience in fauna visual inspections, baseline studies, and Controlled Disturbance procedures
🔹 Experience in environmental inspections and compliance for construction or energy projects
🔹 Desirable experience in power transmission line or energy projects
🔹 Solid knowledge of environmental legislation related to fauna and sectorial permits
🔹 Experience managing and complying with RCA commitments related to fauna
🔹 Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001 or similar)
🔹 Strong fieldwork capability, coordination, reporting, and communication skills
🔹 Availability for permanent site work
🎓 Education
✔ Professional degree in Natural Resources Engineering, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or Veterinary Medicine
✔ Specialized courses or training related to fauna protection and environmental management
