EOE Employment at LSPR guarantees the opportunity to learn communication and organizational skills, professionalism, and civic responsibility while building outstanding personal and work relationships.$15.75/hourly The Facility Supervisor assists with the operations and maintenance of the concession operations, outdoor pickleball courts (seasonal), shelter rentals and outdoor ice rink (seasonal) located at Lea McKeighan North Park.
This includes supervising the ice staff, operating the concession stand (food and beverage operations), skate rentals (seasonal), pickleball courts (seasonal), splash pad (seasonal) and facility maintenance.
** Job Scope:
** Supervises part-time employees and contract professionals for the daily facility operations, programming and special events. Responsible for the monitoring of the concession stand, pickleball courts (seasonal), splash pad (seasonal) and ice rink (seasonal) in the absence other full-time or part time supervisors.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*** Serves as point of contact for patron services. Assists patrons with inquires and other related needs.
* Creates, maintains and performs data entry into a large variety of patron databases.
* Processes financial transactions related to facility offerings, including, but not limited to: season passes, session passes, skate rentals, and concession items; and maintains all transaction history for all processed transactions; balances daily receipts deposits and maintains critical cash controls.
* Responsible for monitoring and oversight of all aspects of facility operations, including ice rink activities and operations, pickleball, splash pad, and volleyball activities.
* May assist patrons with other Parks and Recreation transactions or needs.
* Distributes promotional materials related to facility event(s).
* Responsible for opening and/or closing of facility and related services.
* Responsible for general maintenance and custodial needs of facility, including opening and closing functions related to concessions and restrooms.
* Responsible for ensuring shelter is cleaned of trash and debris and is properly reset for scheduled reservations.
* Responsible for maintaining and checking in/out equipment to patrons and ensuring equipment is in safe and usable condition; responsible for reporting equipment maintenance, repair and replacement needs to supervisor for processing.
* Responsible for maintaining records and files related to facility operations; completes attendance reports related to facility operations.
* Performs inventory and restocking of food and beverage supplies as needed; reports inventory needs to supervisor to ensure adequate stock of supplies.
* Maintains safety by following LSPR guidelines, policies and procedures.
* Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings.
* Ensures enforcement of rules and regulations of LSPR.
* Performs all other related duties as assigned.

* Minimum Qualifications:
*** Must be at least 18 years of age; and,
* High School diploma or GED required; and,
* Minimum of one year experience in customer service required.
* Basic First Aid and CPR/AED preferred.

*** Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to communicate with patrons professionally and respectfully.
* Thorough understanding of cash handling procedures and ability to become proficient in use of POS system.
* Skills in organizing, planning and preparing materials and evaluating goals and objectives.
* Ability to analyze community needs, problem solve and implement solutions, and relate to the needs of all age groups.
* Ability to establish good working relationship with public, subordinates and supervisors. Ability to maintain self-control and composure and set a professional example for the staff and participants.
* Ability to understand, analyze and implement ideas and concepts.
* Skills in communications and providing exceptional patron service.
* Knowledge of administrative skills and operation of personal computer and appropriate software, including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; skills in maintenance and usage of other traditional office equipment necessary.### Principal Working Relationships
