Job Description: Vaccines Export Manager
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Reports to: Commercial Director
Job Purpose
Execute the international expansion strategy for vaccines across Africa. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, registering products with local authorities, managing distributor networks, and ensuring compliance with international and local regulations to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Export Planning: Implement an export sales strategy to enter key African markets, aligned with the company’s expansion goals.
• Market Entry & Registration: Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure timely registration of vaccines in target African countries.
• Distributor Management: Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with local distributors, agents, and key partners, including ministries of health.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough research on market demand, competitive landscape, pricing strategies, and tender opportunities (GAVI, local government) in Africa.
• Logistics & Cold Chain Control: Oversee the export documentation process (COAs, CPPs, Free Sale Certificates) and ensure the maintenance of stringent cold chain logistics during shipping and delivery.
• Sales Target Achievement: Monitor and analyze export sales performance KPIs, preparing reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Client Relationship Management: Build technical and commercial relationships with key opinion leaders, veterinaries, and government EPI (Expanded Program on Immunization) officials.

Profile: Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, or related background.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or vaccine exports, specifically targeting Sub-Saharan Africa or MENA regions.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of vaccine registration dossiers, and African regulatory frameworks.
• Track Record: Proven success in developing new markets, building distributor networks, and winning government tenders.
Technical & Personal Skills
• Languages: Excellent command of English (written and verbal). Proficiency in French or Portuguese is a strong advantage.
• Negotiation: High-level negotiation skills for contract finalization.
• Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of incoterms, shipping, and cold chain management (essential for biological products).
• Cultural Awareness: Ability to navigate diverse business environments within Africa.
• Travel: Flexibility for international travel.
