Position: Expert Arborist for Urban Forestry Projects

WSP is looking for an Arborist with approximately six years of experience in consulting arboriculture or urban forestry. You will be responsible for leading tree preservation efforts and developing comprehensive reports and plans while collaborating with clients and stakeholders. This position offers a mix of field and office work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed tree inventories and health assessments
• Lead arboriculture field investigations and by-law compliance
• Develop technical arborist reports and proposals
• Assess tree impacts from infrastructure projects
• Provide guidance on tree protection measures
Requirements:
• Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Over 6 years of consulting experience
• Active ISA Certified Arborist designation
• Proficient in CAD and GIS for tree planning
• Valid driver’s license for fieldwork travel
