We are seeking a full or part-time EXPERIENCED Veterinary Technician. We have a family like atmosphere, where everyone is treated with respect and consideration. It is because of this, that we are looking for the right candidate to add to our amazing tech team, and will consider certified, and non-certified technicians. Our ideal candidate must be responsible, reliable, have great customer service skills, and be a TEAM PLAYER! Benefits and PTO available. Must be available to work evenings and some Saturdays.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Take vitals
Draw blood
Place IV catheters
Know vaccine protocols
Administer vaccinations
Administer medications
Calculate medication dosages
Enter charges in the computer
Computer skills a must
Go over charges with clients
Monitor Anesthesia
Intubate
Monitor patients post surgery
Monitor sick patients
Apply Emergency Protocols
Assist in administration of CPR
Perform Dental Cleanings
Assist in Surgery
Fill Prescriptions
Client call backs
Go over surgical forms with clients
Refill medications
Great observation skills
Explain medication protocols to clients
Explain post-procedure care to clients
Great client communication
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
