As demand for our services grows, we’re looking for an experienced veterinary technician with strong surgical skills to help us deliver the exceptional care our patients and clients have come to expect.
What You’ll Do:
Be a voice of comfort and compassion for pets and their families.
Assist in surgeries, monitor anesthesia, and ensure safe and smooth recoveries.
Perform critical diagnostic lab work including cytology and blood analysis.
Maintain and operate advanced equipment, including IDEXX Vet Lab Station.
Collaborate with a team of DVMs and techs in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Mentor and guide veterinary assistants.
Support day-to-day clinic operations including scheduling, invoicing, and client communication.
What We’re Looking For:
Surgical experience is a must! You should be confident in surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, and post-op care.
At least 3 years of experience as a veterinary technician in a general practice, emergency, or shelter setting.
Excellent multitasking abilities and a calm, compassionate presence.
A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
Comfort with standing, kneeling, and bending for long periods
Skilled in safe animal restraint and handling
