Potomac Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary technician. We are a busy, 3 doctor, small animal (dogs and cats only), AAHA accredited facility. Open Monday – Saturday with no overnight hours, offering pay based upon experience, health care, vacation and 401K options.
A veterinary technician is responsible for assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, placing IV catheters, blood collection, lab procedures, anesthetic monitoring, assisting in the operating room etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour
