Golden Gate Animal Clinic is looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
We are seeking someone who is cross-trained and comfortable working in all areas of a busy veterinary clinic, including:
- Assisting with surgeries and procedures
- Surgical preparation, monitoring & recovery
- Restraining and handling dogs & cats
- Assisting with appointments and patient care
- Drawing blood and running in-house lab work
- Taking radiographs
- Filling medications and assisting with treatments
- Cleaning, stocking & maintaining treatment/surgical areas
- Helping with reception and client communication when needed
- Working as a team wherever help is needed
What We’re Looking For:
Veterinary assistant/technician experience preferred
Surgical experience strongly preferred
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and client-service skills
Reliable, organized and team-oriented
Someone willing to jump in and help in all areas of the clinic
FULL-TIME POSITION NO WEEKENDS!
