Latah Creek Animal Hospital is a Fear Free Certified, AAHA-accredited independent practice in Spokane, WA and we’re looking for a highly experienced veterinary assistant who’s ready to grow into licensure. If you’ve been running anesthesia, placing catheters, monitoring surgery, and doing it well for 3+ years, we’re not just offering a job. We’re offering a pathway.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of advanced hands-on veterinary assistant experience
- Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement, phlebotomy, and surgical support
- Experience with in-house diagnostics and a variety of species a plus
- A calm, regulated presence and strong client communication skills
- A genuine desire to pursue LVT licensure – we’ll help you get there
The LVT Pathway
You may already qualify for licensure through experience-based routes that don’t require starting school from scratch. We’ll help the right candidate explore every option, cover continuing education, and support you through the process.

- $25.25–$27/hour DOE, wage for LVT increases
