Fremont Animal Hospital is seeking an Experienced full-time, veterinary assistant to join our team. Our hospital group loves our clients and their pets like family and also feels the same way about each other.
Our practice will deliver the highest quality medical care with compassion and a personal touch. We’re hoping to find a technician who knows how to make people and pets feel welcome, has exceptional communication skills, experience assisting in surgery, and is committed to building relationships with our pet parents. Regular reviews and feedback
The ideal candidate would have experience with the following or willingness to learn (with continued training available as needed):
Maintaining complete medical records
Providing compassionate, gentle care with patients
Surgical monitoring
Filling prescriptions
Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging in house
IV catheter placement and venipuncture
The ideal candidate would also focus on:
Building relationships with our clients and their pets
Client communication and education
Compassion towards clients, pets, and staff equally
