About the Position
We are looking for an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping both patients and clients. We are seeking an individual who can work confidently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent patient care and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and RVTs with examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
- Safely and compassionately restrain patients
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples
- Assist with radiology and diagnostic procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas
- Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of veterinary assistant experience preferred
- Comfortable administering vaccines, oral medications, and SQ, IM, and IV injections
- Experienced with IV catheter placement
- Confident performing blood draws
- Knowledge of anesthetic monitoring equipment and patient recovery protocols
The above clinical skills are essential for this position.

- Experience with veterinary software is a plus
