We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you are passionate about animal care and thrive in a fast paced clinical environment, we’d love to hear from you. We are a dog and cat practice with currently 1 doctor on staff.
Requirements:
– Minimum 3 years of Vet Tech experience
– Proficient in blood draws and IV catheter placement
– Strong knowledge of animal handling and restraint
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills
– Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy setting
Responsibilities:
– Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
– Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
– Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures
– Take and process lab samples ( blood, urine, fecal, etc.)
– Maintai accurate patient records
– Provide client education on treatments, medications and preventative care
– Ensure clinic is clean, organized, and well-stocked
– Assist with radiographs
