We are looking to add a skilled and experienced RVT to our team! A minimum of 5+ years of experience working as an RVT is required. Applicants must meet this requirement to be considered. Our Practice
We are a full-service hospital providing care to dogs and cats. Our services include:
- Routine and urgent care appointments
- Drop-off patients
- Surgery and dentistry
- Digital radiography and digital dental radiography
- Ultrasound and acupuncture
- In-house laboratory testing
Traveling specialists provide advanced imaging and surgical services. We utilize an electronic medical record system and modern technology to support excellent client communication and patient care.
Responsibilities
You’ve worked hard for your training and experience—we want you to use it fully. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care using advanced technical skills, including:
- Diagnostic sample collection
- Catheter placement
- Radiography
- Medical treatments
- Dental radiology
- Prophylactic dental cleanings and examinations
- Assisting with procedures and surgeries, including anesthetic induction and monitoring
- Providing pre- and post-operative patient care
- Maintaining surgical instruments and equipment
- Participating in client education, including:
- Admission and discharge appointments
- Medication and at-home care instruction
- Advocating for patient health through client education
- Maintaining thorough and accurate medical records
- Continually advancing technical knowledge and skills

Physical Requirements
- Push, pull, and lift animals or objects up to 40 pounds
- Reach above and below shoulder level
- Stand for extended periods
- Bend, kneel, crouch, squat, lift, carry, restrain, and balance as required for patient care
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years working as an RVT
- Proficiency in all responsibilities listed above
Work Details
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Full-time: 35-40 hours per week (10-hour shifts)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
