Silver Star, part of the POWDR Group, is seeking an experienced operator to craft sustainable mountain bike trails. Candidates should have a minimum of one year operating machines like mini excavators. This role emphasizes the importance of safe trail design and maintenance, while fostering leadership skills among ground crew members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate mini excavators and maintain equipment
• Build new mountain bike trails and enhance existing ones
• Grade tread, shape berms, and construct features
• Lead and team up with ground crew members
• Keep work sites organized and safe
Requirements:
• Minimum one year experience as a machine operator
• Proven skills in mountain bike trail construction
• Physically fit with strong safety awareness
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
• Chainsaw experience an asset
