Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable,
forward-thinking
gardening and landscaping company that is expanding its team. They are seeking a confident, experienced gardener who can work independently, deliver high-quality results, and represent the business professionally when dealing with clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled gardener looking to work on a range of creative, well-maintained private and commercial gardens.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out general and skilled garden maintenance tasks, including planting, pruning, weeding, lawn care, and hedge trimming
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various gardening tasks
* Work independently on sites and make horticultural decisions with confidence
* Liaise professionally with clients, offering advice and responding to feedback
* Use and maintain garden tools and machinery safely
* Ensure a high standard of workmanship and
attention to detail
on all jobs
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of
hands-on
gardening or landscape maintenance experience in a professional setting
* Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools related to gardening tasks
* Excellent plant knowledge and horticultural skills
* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a
positive attitude
towards
teamwork
and customer service.
* Confident, reliable, and able to work without supervision
*
Strong communication skills
and a
customer-focused
attitude
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* RHS Level 2 or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential)
