Job Overview:

The Executive / Senior Executive – Corporate Relations will support the Corporate Relations team in achieving placement and corporate engagement goals. This role involves coordination with internal teams, corporate outreach, and ensuring high standards of service and brand representation. The incumbent will assist in driving internship and placement opportunities, fostering long-term client relationships, and supporting business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Outreach:

Develop and execute a lead generation plan to meet or exceed monthly internship and placement targets.

Identify and approach new organizations for placements and other corporate engagement opportunities.

Maintain a pipeline of prospective corporate partners through market research and competitor benchmarking.

Corporate Engagement:

Increase the number of companies participating in campus recruitment, internship drives, and other corporate interactions.

Ensure active participation of high-quality speakers and industry leaders in guest lectures and campus events.

Business Development:

Contribute to the growth of full-time academic programs by enhancing corporate partnerships and benchmarking against peer institutions.

Support the enrolment and brand initiatives of SP Jain School through strategic corporate alliances.

Relationship Management:

Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with existing and potential recruiters and executive education clients.

Consistently engage with partner companies, provide updates on campus developments, and incorporate their feedback for continuous improvement.

Operational Support:

Maintain accurate records and databases related to corporate outreach, placements, and performance metrics.

Submit timely reports and updates to management on individual and team activities.

Ensure adherence to SP Jain policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.

Other Duties:

Demonstrate initiative and commitment beyond standard working hours as required.

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by reporting managers.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

Regional Market Understanding:

Proven experience in engaging with senior professionals in the Gulf region.

Ability to generate referrals and new leads through existing corporate relationships.

Business Development:

Actively source new corporate partners for placements and executive education.

Schedule and conduct meetings with key decision-makers across industries.

Client Relationship Management:

Build strong, lasting relationships with corporate partners.

Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with existing contacts, offering value through timely campus updates and engagement.

Skills & Competencies:

Qualifications:

MBA in Human Resources or Marketing

Experience:

3–5 years of experience in corporate relations, business development, or placements within the higher education sector.

Technical Skills:

Strong consultative selling abilities

Proficiency in CRM and reporting tools (preferred)

Behavioural Attributes:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented

Strong sense of accountability and professionalism
