Exam Room Assistant & Veterinary Assistant Jobs in Westminster, CO at Arrowhead Animal Hospital
We are seeking a motivated, skilled Veterinary Assistant to support our doctors, technicians, and ER team in a fast-paced, collaborative hospital.
This role includes exam room assisting, patient care, and helping our urgent care/ER team keep cases flowing smoothly. Ideal candidates are organized, compassionate, and thrive in a busy veterinary environment. We are looking for part time or full time.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exam room appointments
- Help maintain efficient patient flow for appointments and ER cases
- Perform TPRs (temperature, pulse, respiration)
- Practice low-stress animal handling and restraint
- Assist with patient intake, treatments, and hospitalized patient care
- Support post-anesthesia & sedated procedure recovery
- Help maintain hospital cleanliness and sterilization of instruments
- Provide excellent client service with every interaction
- Willing to work swing shift (2pm–10pm)

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
