We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and skilled ER Veterinary Technician to join our overnight team in The Woodlands, TX.

What You’ll Do
As an ER Veterinary Technician, you will work closely with veterinarians and the emergency team to provide high-quality care to emergency, hospitalized, and critical patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Perform blood draws and catheter placement
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
- Provide emergency and critical patient care
- Assist with surgery and post-operative recovery
- Perform laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing
- Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic imaging
- Monitor hospitalized and ICU patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with pet owners
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe treatment areas
- Assist with inventory and hospital organization
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians and the veterinary team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician
- 1+ year of Emergency Room (ER) veterinary experience preferred
- Experience with blood draws and catheter placement
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology, laboratory procedures, and diagnostic imaging
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, positive, and adaptable attitude
- Comfortable working overnight shifts
- Flexibility to work weekends and emergency schedules as needed
- Ability to safely handle animals of different sizes and perform the physical requirements of the position
Experience with ICU, critical care, surgery, or emergency medicine is a plus.
