Job description:About usEquine Athlete is a fast-paced equine veterinary practice with mobile locations in Michigan, North Texas, Kentucky, and California/Arizona, with our state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical hospital located in Simpsonville, Kentucky.Our Michigan location is based in Williamston and provides office support including billing and data entry, customer support, and other administrative tasks for our different locations.OverviewWe are a busy equine veterinary practice seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented receptionist for one of our offices located in Williamston, MI. This location provides office support including occasional billing, data entry, bookkeeping and other administrative tasks for our different locations.Attention to detail is a must!Administrative support tasks may include:Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and text communications from clients regarding scheduling, pricing, payments and general inquiries.Serve as a point of contact for veterinarians, providing administrative support and managing their queries as needed.Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the veterinary team.Answer and direct messages to the appropriate staff members and veterinarians.QualificationsProficiency in Basic Computer Skills: Experience with data entry and office software is preferred; we are willing to train the right applicant.Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members.Strong Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail: Capable of managing multiple tasks and ensuring all details are accurately handled.Ability to Handle Multiple Tasks: Must be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.This position requires Equine knowledge, terminology and experienceThe schedule will be 8 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday.
