The purpose of the role is to service clients by way of ensuring their environmental compliance requirements, as stipulated by environmental laws, authorisations, permits, licenses and management plans, are in order and up to date.
In this respect, the Environmental Coordinator will be required to undertake environmental compliance activities, site inspections, implement and enforce the conditions of permits and/or management measures, conduct environmental audits and ensure compliance to the commitments made in the various approvals and authorisations on behalf of our clients.
Importantly, this position will involve travelling around South Africa to several clients sites in order to ensure monthly environmental compliance monitoring is maintained.
