Full Job Description
Busy small animal and exotic practice in North East Salem looking for a motivated, self-starting veterinary assistant. Experienced or entry level encouraged to apply. Great foot in the door for someone in a pre-vet or veterinary technician program. Some experience working with dogs and cats is preferred
Duties include (but not limited to), surgery pack cleaning/sterilizing, stocking supplies, patient restraint, lab sample prep, medical procedure prep, kennel cleaning, laundry, floor maintenance etc. Ability to learn more responsibilities on the job and advance within the company. Great work environment, knowledgeable team, excellent benefits.
Our ideal candidate will be a hard worker, good at multi-tasking, likes to keep things clean and organized, has good communication skills, shows initiative and wants to learn and grow within the company. Preference giving to bilingual (Spanish) candidates.
