As a customer service representative within our hospital, you will be the face of the hospital. At River Run Animal Hospital we are about the betterment of life for our clients and their pets by serving the enduring bond between them. Without a doubt, we would be unable to do that without a compatible team! We value the education, skill, and compassion each staff member brings to our clients and their pets. Our hours are Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, and Sat-Sun 8am-5pm; we are closed major holidays.
Ideal candidates:
Have 1 year experience in customer service- experience in veterinary medicine is a plus!
Have a flexible schedule
Must be able to rotate working weekends
Are able to multi-task
Have extreme attention to detail
Show exceptional critical thinking skills
Are willing to learn and change as our hospital grows
Reception duties will include but are not limited to:
Receiving and placing calls to clients and other hospitals for appointments and referral information
Maintaining proper and professional documentation through client and patient records
Utilizing our practice management software and digital whiteboard for records and communication with clients and teammates
Managing the financial needs of the hospital by maintaining accurate balances through collection of client transactions, and proper opening and close out procedures
Providing excellent customer service skills at an exceptional level of communication
Maintaining a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets and other teammates
Demonstrating ability to show empathy toward clients
