We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our 24 hour Emergency Center team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and exceptional customer service skills with a minimum of 2 years, on-site experience.
– Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
– Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic’s calendar
– Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients
– Assist with medical record management and data entry
– Handle payments and billing processes
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
*Qualifications*
– 2 years minimum in the Veterinary Field
– Experience in animal handling and care is preferred
– Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
– Ability to recognize emergent situations and remain calm.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry and appointment scheduling
– Certification in aseptic technique or willingness to learn is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $22.00 per hour
