Position: Emergency Veterinarian: Privately Owned
Our privately owned Emergency Hospital is searching for an experienced dayshift or mid-shift emergency veterinarian to join our team.
HAEC is a women-owned, vetmom-owned, 24-hour emergency hospital located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality emergency care to our community. Our core values include teamwork, camaraderie, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Currently, we have 11 veterinarians and over 70 support staff, with plans for continued growth.
Our hospital is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art equipment, including:
Full Idexx in-house laboratory
Digital x-ray
Three ultrasound machines, including a high-end machine for full abdominal scans and specialist reads
Four Snyder ICU oxygen cages
Endoscopy equipment
Ligasure machine with electrocautery and vessel sealers
Digital cytology machine for rapid specialist report turnaround within 2 hours
Separate ICU wards for cats and dogs
Ventilator
In-house blood bank program
Therapy laser
Instinct practice management system with fully electronic whiteboard and treatment sheets
We offer a highly competitive salary ranging from $215,000 to $260,000 per year, depending on experience and shift preference. Our benefits package includes:

Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD)
Pennsylvania State License in good standing, or ability to transfer from another state
