We are looking for a motivated and like-minded Emergency and Critical Care Nurse to join our dynamic team on a Full-time basis!

In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill and emergency patients, working in a fast-paced environment where every shift presents new challenges and learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency and critical care patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

Assist veterinarians during diagnostic procedures, treatments, and surgeries, upholding the highest standards of patient care

Monitor and manage patient conditions, including post-operative care, and respond to emergencies efficiently

Communicate effectively with the veterinary team, pet owners, and specialists to ensure seamless patient care

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up care

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues and participating in continuous learning opportunities

Qualifications And Experience We Are Looking For

Qualification: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) is essential

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency or critical care setting preferred

Skills: Strong technical nursing skills, including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and emergency response

Flexibility: Ability to work across a 24/7 roster, adapting to the dynamic nature of emergency and critical care

Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team

Team Player: A positive attitude with a strong commitment to providing the best possible care for our patients
