A well-established veterinary hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its compassionate team. The clinic is committed to providing exceptional care to pets and their families, fostering a supportive environment for both clients and staff.
Position Overview: The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal health conditions, performing surgeries, and providing preventive care. The role offers a diverse caseload, ensuring that each day brings new challenges and rewards.
Responsibilities:
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals.
Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in animals.
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
Perform surgeries and administer anesthesia.
Provide vaccinations and other preventive care services.
Consult with clients regarding their animals’ health and wellness.
Qualifications:
DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Mexico.
At least 2 years of experience working as a veterinarian.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
