Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our dedicated team. We have two practices- a general practice; Main Street Vet and Urgent Care Veterinary Partners which is “after-hours” care. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and welfare, with experience in various aspects of veterinary medicine. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal health issues, providing preventative care, and educating pet owners on proper animal husbandry. Our practice values teamwork, continuous learning, and the highest standards of care for our patients.
Duties
Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status.
Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and diseases in pets and livestock.
Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including animal catheterization.
Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed.
Provide emergency veterinary critical care when required.
Educate pet owners on nutrition, behavior, and general care practices.
Maintain accurate medical records for all patients treated.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
Proficiency in dog handling and equine care is highly desirable.
Strong background in pet care, including knowledge of animal physiology and husbandry.
Experience with animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling during examinations or procedures.
Familiarity with veterinary critical care protocols is a plus.
A valid veterinary license is required to practice in the state.
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for new graduates passionate about animal health.

Pay: $95,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
