A partner clinic located in beautiful Sarasota, FL, is seeking a passionate and skilled Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. Situated close to miles of stunning beaches and surrounded by beautiful parks and biking paths, this clinic offers an incredible opportunity to live and work in one of Florida’s most desirable locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Care:
Perform physical exams, diagnostic tests, surgeries (including species-specific cases), and dentistry.
Treatment Plans:
Develop and implement customized treatment plans for small animals and exotic pets.
Client Education:
Consult with clients on their pets’ health, preventive care, and treatment options.
Collaboration:
Work alongside a dedicated multi-doctor team, fostering a collaborative approach to animal care.
Community Involvement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the Sarasota community.
Advanced Diagnostics:
Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, including digital radiographs, ultrasound, and echocardiography.
Ideal Candidate:
Education: DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
Licensing:
Active license to practice in Florida (or the ability to obtain a license in the state).
Experience:
Open to veterinarians of all experience levels. Previous experience with exotic pets and species-specific care is a plus.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
