A partner hospital in Mobile, AL, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative, multi-doctor practice. This clinic offers the unique opportunity to work with small animals and exotics, utilizing advanced equipment such as ultrasound and digital dental radiographs. With a flexible schedule and no weekends required, this position allows for an excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and health concerns in a variety of species
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to patients’ needs
Perform surgeries and dental procedures with the support of a dedicated team
Maintain patient records and provide client education on pet care
Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional, compassionate care
Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to support the clinic’s mission
Manage a varying caseload while ensuring high-quality service and care
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
Active license in good standing to practice in Alabama (or ability to obtain licensure)
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing compassionate care
