Job Summary
The Class 1 Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of guests, staff, goods, and company property while ensuring the highest standards of customer service. The role requires reliability, discretion, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport guests, employees, and company property as assigned.
- Ensure timely collection and delivery of goods, supplies, and documents.
- Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any defects.
- Keep accurate vehicle logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials where required.
- Provide professional and courteous service to guests and colleagues at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant driving experience, preferably in the hospitality, tourism, or corporate sector.
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations.
- Defensive Driving Certificate
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- High levels of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
