We’re looking for reliable, hard-working Driver Caretaker to join our busy grounds maintenance team. This is a full-time role working across a variety of council-managed and public sites.
Areas You’ll Cover:
Fire Stations
Libraries
Wedding Venues
Council Offices
Council Sites
Schedule:
Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
2-week site rotation
Overtime and weekend availability
Holiday cover may be required
Key Responsibilities:
General grounds maintenance (mowing, edging, weeding)
Planting and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and trees
Using hand and power tools for landscaping tasks
Operating and maintaining equipment (lawn mowers, strimmer)
Keeping outdoor areas clean and debris-free Requirements:
Experience in grounds maintenance preferred to work for Public Sector and Government
Ability to use tools safely (training can be provided)
Physically fit to work outdoors in all conditions
Good time management and
attention to detail
Full UK Driving Licence – required
PA1 & PA6 certificates – preferred Main Locations:
Worthing, Crawley, Chichester (plus other local areas)
