Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Driver role based in Kumasi. The Driver will operate company trucks to transport plantain chips and natural juices safely between the production facility, warehouses, and customer locations. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles before and after trips, loading and unloading products, and following assigned delivery schedules and routes. The Driver will maintain accurate delivery records, comply with all traffic and safety regulations, and coordinate with the logistics and production teams. The role also involves interacting professionally with customers and representing Add Brand in a courteous and reliable manner.
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills with experience operating commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Valid CDL Class A license and clean driving record in compliance with local regulations.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, production teams, and customers.
- Customer service skills to handle deliveries, respond to inquiries, and represent the company professionally.
- Good knowledge of Kumasi and surrounding routes, with the ability to follow maps and GPS systems.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Physical ability to load and unload products and handle manual tasks as required.
- Reliability, punctuality, and adherence to safety procedures; prior experience in food or FMCG distribution is an advantage.
