Sequel Technologies is a software company providing healthcare IT software and medical billing services to US healthcare providers and clinics.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary clinical contact for new EHR implementation clients.
- Support new practices that are transitioning to our EHR system by completing clinical setups and required software changes based on the client’s needs.
- Assist in creating and updating clinical templates, encounter forms, order sets, lab orders, and documentation tools.
- Support basic EHR/EMR workflows, including SOAP notes, macros, labs, and procedures.
- Assist in conducting remote training sessions for U.S.-based healthcare providers and internal teams.
- Guide users through clinical documentation workflows such as HPI, ROS, Physical Exam, Assessment, and Plan.
- Support training on AI clinical tools, e-prescribing, and integrated clinical modules.
- Perform basic quality checks on clinical workflows, documentation tools, labs, and e-prescribing features.
- Ensure clinical documentation follows regulatory standards (HIPAA, CMS, MIPS) with support from senior team members.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist with internal audits when required.
- Respond to internal and external support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Clearly document issues and escalate complex cases to senior team members when needed.
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Work closely with clinicians and senior team members to understand specialty-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to learn workflows and support ongoing improvements.
- Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) and share feedback with the team.
Qualifications/Skills
- Basic experience or strong interest in healthcare, IT or EHR/EMR systems.
- Strong clinical foundation with a willingness to learn EHR workflows and tools.
- Knowledge of medical billing, coding, or compliance is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Good communication, training, and documentation skills.
- DPT (non-practicing)—complete education required.

- 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Summers)
- 6:00 PM –3:00 AM (Winters)
