We’re currently looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our facility.
Position Summary:
The Doggie Daycare Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients and their pets. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a genuine love for animals. You’ll be responsible for managing front desk operations, handling administrative tasks, and supporting both clients and staff throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets with a warm and professional demeanor
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage appointment scheduling
Check dogs in and out for daycare and boarding services
Maintain accurate records in our client database
Process payments and maintain financial accuracy at the front desk
Provide updates to pet parents regarding their dog’s stay or behavior
Keep the reception area tidy and stocked with supplies
Support the team with various clerical and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a receptionist, customer service, or veterinary/animal care setting preferred
Comfortable interacting with dogs of all breeds and sizes
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer and POS system proficiency
Positive attitude and team player mentality
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.50 – $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
